Home to the York Botanic Art Prize, Gallery 152 is a contemporary art gallery based in York in regional Western Australia, We work with artists Australia-wide - from Mandy Renard, Filomena Coppola, Sujora Conrad and Lia McKnight to Shane Moad, Yuko Takahashi, Stewart Scambler, Mikaela Castledine, Judy Rogers, Annie Kavanagh, Jason McDonald and others. The annual York Botanic Art Prize is a collaboration between Gallery 152 and the Wildflower Society of WA, which invites artists around Australia working in any medium to push the concept of contemporary botanic art, beyond the realm of a scientifically correct representation of Western Australia’s native flora.
