Gingerbread began as a painting inspired by the sea and morphed into an alluring, rhythmic chaos of a different sort; one with a butcher, livestock and gingerbread journeying across a marshy land.
I earned my stripes working hard in a butcher shop for my first job and I now work with kids in the country. This work for me is about the nervousness that comes with working relationships of power and the importance of a healthy dose of laughter within this.
